This calming original watercolor takes in the highest peak in Galilee, Mount Arbel. These rocky cliffs are close to Capernaum along the Sea of Galilee, the town that became the center for Jesus's ministry.
The light and earthy color palette will bring a peaceful ambiance where you place this 5x7" painting. I love to imagine Jesus sitting near the edge, praying and looking out over the Sea of Galilee and the distant hills. The very hills and mountains he helped to create at the dawn of creation.
My prayer is that when you see it in your home, it would remind you of Jesus's words in Matthew 17:20, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." He could have very well been looking at this mountain as he spoke. It is the highest point in the area.
Add this a stunning yet subtle Biblical art to your spring and Easter decor this year.
An original by Maggie Greenway. 5x7" painting on cold-press watercolor paper. It will arrive to you carefully wrapped in a cellophane protective bag with a cardboard backing.
