Flowers of Hope Original Watercolor, Poppies

The Flowers of Hope series come out of my word of the year for 2022: HOPE. Each of these six hand-painted pieces display a vibrant bloom that is a historical symbol of hope. These petit floral watercolors would make a sweet gift for a special mom this Mother's Day or a gift for a friend who needs some hope right now.

Each painting will come with a hand-written Bible verse about hope as well. This one includes:  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you. Ephesians 1:18

Since World War I, poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives in war and the hope of a peaceful future.
